72,630+ People Reached: 3 Months of HIV Awareness in PNG and Abroad
Breaking silence, sharing truth, and offering support - one post at a time.
3 Months. Thousands of Conversations Started.
When I started sharing about HIV on my Facebook page, I had one goal:
To break the silence and give people the right information.
For too long, HIV has been spreading quietly in our communities. Not because people don’t care, but because people don’t talk about it.
In the last 3 months, I’m proud to share what we have achieved together.
THE IMPACT IN NUMBERS
According to my Facebook page analytics in just the last 28 days:
72,630+ Views
That’s 72,630 times someone stopped scrolling and read about HIV, testing, stigma, and support. From Lae to Port Moresby, from PNG to communities abroad.
2,148+ Engagements
Likes, comments, shares, and DMs. A 43% increase. This tells me people are not just seeing it - they are talking about it.
34% Growth in Reach
More people are finding the message every week.
These are not just numbers. Behind every view is a mother, a student, a worker, a leader who now has more information to make a safe choice.
WHY THIS WORK MATTERS
HIV is real. And it affects real people in our social pockets.
Stigma and silence make it worse.
Education and conversation make it better.
Every share of a post could be the reason someone gets tested.
Every comment could be the reason someone feels less alone.
Every DM could be the start of someone getting help.
LOOKING AHEAD
This is only the beginning.
We need to keep talking. Keep educating. Keep supporting each other.
If one person changes their behavior, gets tested, or seeks help because of this page - then it’s all worth it.
NEED SOMEONE TO TALK TO?
I offer FREE 30-Minute Professional Counselling Sessions for anyone struggling with mental health, HIV-related concerns, or just needing someone to talk to.
No judgement. Just a safe space.

Thank you to everyone who has liked, shared, and supported this page.
Let’s keep spreading awareness, not stigma.
With care,
Mr. Simon Kange
